Four friends on Southview Drive raised $220 for NEO Kids in September with an age-old fundraising endeavour: a lemonade stand.

Their parents tell Sudbury.com that Nico Orazi-Dagostino, Sophia Spry, Olivia Spry and Angelo Orazi-Dagostino took it upon themselves to come up with the fundraiser. They put their stand on Arthur Street and generous passersby couldn’t help but stop for a sip and to support pediatric care in the city.

The kids aren’t done yet either. We’re told they plan on repeating the fundraiser when the cold weather comes by selling hot chocolate.

The proceeds from their endeavour were presented to NEO Kids earlier this month.
