There is a new program called Adopt-a-Creek, from the Junction Creek Restoration Committee.

Schools and other groups will be encouraged to help restore Junction Creek by taking responsibility for a small section of the waterway by doing clean-ups, planting trees and shrubs and other activities.
TD Canada Trust Friends of the Environment Foundation and the Community Fisheries and Wildlife Involvement Program have committed funds to purchase some of the plants and supplies.
