Ward 5 candidate Jerry Desormeaux is hosting a candidate meet and greet on Aug. 26.
Desormeaux is holding the event at the M&M Food Market in Val Caron from noon to 3 p.m. The event will include a Q&A so voters can get to know him.
Desormeaux is one of two candidates contesting the Ward 5 seat currently held by Robert Kirwan. The other candidate is Michel Lalonde.
