No matter which team you're pulling for, everyone will walk away a winner at the inaugural Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers Fire Truck Pull.

The event is slated for May 12 at the RioCan Centre parking lont on the Kingsway (beside Chapters). The event will require teams of 10 people who will pull a fire truck 60 feet. Every team must raise a minimum of $500 for their chance at two pulls of the fire truck. The team with the fastest combined time between the two pulls will claim bragging rights.

Prizes will be given out for the first-, second- and third-fastest times, while individuals who raise the most money and the team with the most spirit also win awards. There will be a barbecue, face-painting for the kids and music, while First Responder vehicles will be on hand for spectators to check out.

For more information or a team registration package, visit www.sudburycrimestoppers.ca, or phone 705-675-9171, ext. 5692. As well, requests can be emailed to [email protected].
