Dashcam footage that was uploaded by YouTube user "NeverIce" shows a car going in reverse down the steep hill in front of the Montrose Mall.
In the video's description on YouTube, NeverIce wrote "(I) was traveling down Lasalle Blvd when this happened. An older man reversed over the curb, down the hill, and onto the street. Nearly hitting four other drivers."
In the video, you can see the car nearly collides with a pickup truck, tractor trailer and SUV as it rolled off the hill, over the sidewalk and onto Lasalle Boulevard, blocking both westbound lanes.
The timestamp on the dashboard camera says April 3, 2016, but NeverIce said the incident occurred April 3, 2017 around 8:20 a.m.
