A deceased man was found behind Froogle’s discount store in Hanmer Friday, resulting in the presence of Greater Sudbury Police officers later that evening.
The man, under the age of 30, is believed to have suffered a sudden death sometime Friday, said staff sgt. Jason Gagne of the Greater Sudbury Police Service.
Further investigation into the incident is ongoing, and a post-mortem has been scheduled to determine the cause of death, said the officer, but there is no foul play suspected.
Police do not believe the incident to be evidence of a greater threat to public safety.
