Downtown Sudbury bar The Alibi Room recently launched its Holiday Charity Campaign.

Every year, the business works with an organization that is near and dear to their hearts – The Children’s Aid Society.

Last year, in only nine days, the business was able to fundraise just over $1,000 and provide gifts and food for several families.

This year, they are hoping to do even better and change the holidays for even more families, their children, as well as children in the care of CAS.

They are asking their customers and patrons and patrons of the downtown as well as the community in general, to please give what you can – every little bit helps.

Kyle Marcus and his team at The Alibi Room have created a special link so donations can be made online through their Facebook page.

“We ask that you please give what you can,” Marcus said, in a press release.

“It doesn’t have to be a lot, every little bit helps! Together we can have a significant impact on the lives of our neighbours, friends and family members. We appreciate all your support this holiday season as we raise “spirits” to raise spirits!”

The Alibi Room is located at 113 Durham St.
