Downtown 'Sudsbury': Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival in pictures

Annual beer fest took over the corner of Elgin and Grey on Saturday

Downtown Sudbury? It was more like Downtown 'Sudsbury' on Aug. 12 as the Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival took over the corner of Elgin and Grey Streets.

The festival, hosted by The Laughing Buddha and The Townehouse Tavern, took place from noon to midnight Saturday closing down one lane of traffic along Elgin Street and the adjacent Grey Street to create a single licensed area for 1,800 people under a special occasion permit.

This event featured samples the finest in craft and imported beer available to Ontario, games and prizes and plenty of live music.
