The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting the second annual Bankers Corner Challenge on April 15 at noon.

The Canadian Cancer Society is challenging the four banks (TD, Scotia, BMO and RBC) as well as local business and organizations (Downtown Sudbury Group, Vianet, Fuel Multimedia and SRO nightclub) to compete against one another in raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.

All downtown businesses and property owners are being challenged to “paint” downtown yellow for Daffodil Month. Daffodil Month is a national fundraising campaign that helps raise vital funds for the fight against cancer and support services for those living.

The goal this year is to raise $2,000. This event is the kick-off to the Paint the Downtown Yellow Campaign.

The event runs from noon until 2 p.m. on April 15 at the corner of Durham Street and Cedar Street.
