Sudbury.com is recognizing Sudbury Hydro worker Andrew King as today's Essential Worker of the Day.
King was nominated by his daughter, Jessica, who said, "My dad is on call every day, making sure that residents of Greater Sudbury have their lights on! This is an essential amenity for most of us in our homes.
"He and his crew work day and night keeping each other safe, and risking their lives at times to bring light and warmth to our homes in these adverse times, and always."
"To him and the other hydro workers, thank you."
