The Mama Coach Conference

March 6

Celebrate women, mothers and moms-to-be during the first annual The Mama Coach virtual conference “You Got this, Mama”. The free one day conference will be held March 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Sessions include: 

Preconception / Fertility

Prenatal education, including c-sections, induction, high-risk pregnancy, pain control

Sleep hygiene for infants and toddlers

Antenatal hand expression

Breastfeeding, bottle feeding and pumping

The difference between true colic, reflux, oversupply and tongue ties

The fourth trimester

Parenting, including toddler tantrums, and our top three parenting tips

Toilet learning, including parent and toddler led methods

Infant & Child CPR and choking

Starting solids

Returning to work / Separation anxiety

Keeping kids safe online

International Women’s Day Celebration

March 6

Societa Caruso Culture & Education Committee is celebrating the ninth annual Festa della donna. Take-out dinner in honour of International Women’s Day. Proceeds to support the Cristina Care Fund - NCF. Pick-up your meal March 6. The cost is $30 per person. Phone 705-675-1357 to place your order. 

Registration now open for STC  drama classes

Register for Sudbury Theatre Centre’s spring term drama classes, which begins March 20. Students will participate in a variety of games, exercises during the eight-week term. Classes are available in the following age groups (subject to change depending on enrolment):

Discovery Drama: ages 8-10, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Development Drama: ages 11+, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Classes will be held in the STC auditorium to allow for physical distancing. Masks must be worn at all times. Visit sudburytheatre.com/youth or email [email protected] for more information.

Registration now open
