The community is invited to celebrate all things Italian at the 42nd annual Italian Festival, which runs July 3-6 at the Caruso Club.

Festival chairperson Stephanie Sindori said the festival is family-friendly, as there's something to do for everyone from kids to grandparents. Most of the activities are free, she said.

The festival started July 3 with the Live Pro Wrestling event. It continues this evening (July 4) with the Regions of Italy Food Fair, the Italian Festival Youth Contest, a concert by Snowtown Revival and a teen dance.

On Saturday (July 5), there's live performances, a kids zone, a pasta buffet, foosball tournament and a variety show hosted by comedians Sandra Battaglini and Phil Luzi.

The festival wraps up on Sunday (July 6) with a kids zone, a classic car show, a bocce tournament, a pasta and chicken dinner and the Festival of Stars Variety Show.
