Fire in Chelmsford causes $225,000 in damage

A house fire on Highway 144 in Chelmsford Friday afternoon caused $225,000 in damage, says the Greater Sudbury Fire Services. One person was evacuated from the home and three people have been displaced by the fire. No one was injured.

A house fire on Highway 144 in Chelmsford Friday afternoon caused $225,000 in damage, says the Greater Sudbury Fire Services.

One person was evacuated from the home and three people have been displaced by the fire. No one was injured.

Greater Sudbury Fire Services described smoke and fire damage to the home as moderate.

Twenty-five firefighters responded to the blaze.
