Firefighters rescue window washer from side of Paris St. apartment building

Greater Sudbury Fire Services rescued a window washer stranded on the side of a Paris Street apartment building Saturday.

Firefighters were called to the six-storey building at around 1:25 p.m. June 16. The worker found himself stranded four storeys up.

His work partner, who was on the roof, phoned 911.

Firefighters were able to rescue him using a ladder truck.
