Rainbow board now accepting applications for vacant trustee position:

The Rainbow District School Board is now accepting applications from members of the public to replace one of its trustees for the term ending December 2018. The board voted Dec. 13 to appoint a candidate to replace outgoing trustee Tyler Campbell, rather than have a costly byelection. Sudbury.com will have more on this story later today.

Science North's very own escape room opens Friday:

Science North has jumped on the bandwagon of the escape room trend. You and your friends are invited to get together and attempt to bust out of the the science centre's new escape room starting Jan. 20. Can't wait until Friday?
