Greater Sudbury Fire and Emergency Services responded to a fire at a duplex on St. George Street on Sept. 30.
Both residential units were severely damaged by smoke, and the fire department estimates the damages at $45,000.
A total of four fire vehicles and 16 firefighters responded to the blaze, and two people were displaced from their homes.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
