A special tribute will be held at the Science North IMAX Theatre today (Wednesday) at 7 and 8:15 pm.

The film The Dream is Alive will be shown free of charge for anyone who wishes to remember the astronauts lost in the tragic accident this past weekend.

Â?This film gives us the opportunity to remember the individual astronauts involved in this tragedy as well as the important work that took place aboard the Space Shuttle over the past 25 years,Â? said Alan Nursall, science director at Science North.

Â?Science North wants to present this film so that Sudburians who have followed the space program can pay tribute to the spirit of adventure that these astronauts representÂ?.

Filmed in 1984, The Dream is Alive gives the public an unprecedented window seat aboard the Space Shuttle on the giant five-storey screen.

The film includes remarkable scenes of astronauts at work both inside and outside the spacecraft.

Seating is limited and free tickets for both screenings are available on a first-come, first-served basis in advance or at the door.

For more information, phone 523-IMAX (523-4629).
