Updated May 31

The frost advisory issued by Environment Canada Saturday has been lifted.

Original Story

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Greater Sudbury and the surrounding area in response to the chance of temperatures below freezing.

Previously reported as a low of 2 C, temperatures are expected to drop to -1 C Saturday night, resulting in frost conditions through to Sunday morning.

Damage to crops and other frost or cold-sensitive plants is likely. Residents are, therefore, encouraged to cover these plants, especially in frost-prone areas.
