Funeral for 105.3's Rich Griffin is May 28

The funeral information has been announced for KISS 105.3 radio host Rich Griffin, who passed away due to an aneurysm over the weekend.

A visitation takes place from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral takes place at Glad Tidings Church at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment is at the Civic Cemetery.

The service will be livestreamed at AllNationsChurch.ca and simulcast on KFM 95.5 FM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Rich Griffin Bursary Fund.

Griffin is survived by his wife, Nancy, and his five-year-old daughter, Zoe. He's the son of James and Margaret Griffin (predeceased), nephew of William (Bill) Griffin and sadly missed by many cousins.

His obituary said Griffin was a man of deep faith “and we take comfort knowing he is now safe with his Lord and Saviour.” Griffin had worked in broadcasting since 1987, most recently with Rogers Radio Group on KISS 105.3 since 2001.
