Gateway Casinos announced today that it will begin reopening its casinos across the province that were abruptly closed April 16 following a cyber attack

The company said it will begin reopening its casinos incrementally over the next few days, starting with its Innisfill location on April 29 at noon.

“While this has been an unfortunate incident,” a company news release stated. “We will continue to work with our third-party experts to determine the impacts to personal information, if any, and will keep you updated as we resolve this cyber incident.”

Ticket holders at Casino Rama Resort are advised that concerts will proceed as planned.

Gateway hasn't provided a schedule for the reopening of all its properties so it is unclear when Gateway Casinos Sudbury will reopen its doors.

"We will be re-opening our businesses in Ontario over the coming days," the release stated. "Please visit the Gateway property websites or social channels for the most up to date information. We look forward to welcoming our customers and employees back."
