New Sudbury Centre in conjunction with Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada has launched BeYou.

This national campaign is designed to empower young women and provide them with the tools to help increase self-esteem, personal growth and self-worth.

The program takes place Sept. 10-17 at the New Sudbury Centre.

With interactive programs for all ages, all events are designed to provide young females better access to developmental tools that will help increase self-esteem, personal growth, self-worth and empower young women who are coming of age in a media and technology driven time.

BeYou involves a number of workshops and a chance to meet local role models.

“New Sudbury Centre strives to play an integral role in the community,” says Brenda Folz, marketing director, New Sudbury Centre.

“We designed our BeYou campaign to reach out directly to young girls in the Greater Sudbury area to support them during their formative years and encourage them to express themselves and reach for the stars. Join the movement!”
