The India Canada Association of Sudbury is celebrating its Golden Jubilee — or 50 years — with a gala event Nov. 4.

The celebration takes place starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Caruso Club. There will be entertainment followed by an East Indian dinner catered by world-renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s Milton, Ont. restaurant Khazana.

The India Canada Association of Sudbury is non-profit organization formed in 1967. Its mission is to preserve and promote the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India, foster collaboration among people of Indian origin and the broader Canadian community, and advocate and ensure effective representation of members in social, political and cultural life for the benefit of our community at large.

Tickets to the gala cost $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight. Phone Vinay Grover at 705-929-0119 or Suketu Patel at 705-690-0218.
