The Lung Association of Sudbury and area is helping avid golfers slice the cost of their green fees with its first annual Golf Privilege Booklet.
The fundraiser consists of selling the coupon booklet to members of the public. The booklet can be used at 69 Northern Ontario golf courses and features savings worth $800 and sells for just $20.
?With the golf season in full swing, and Father?s Day approaching quickly, we?re hoping to sell over 150 booklets,? said Al McNeilly, area co-ordinator for the local chapter of the Lung Association.
The booklet features discounted green fees for every one of Greater Sudbury?s 22 golf courses.
Booklets can be purchased by phoning the Lung Association at 673-3116. Proceeds will go to support local lung health research and local community programs.
