Greater Sudbury Utilities has again launched its “Waste Less – Do More” campaign to encourage GSU customers to switch to paperless billing.

With each move to paperless from now until May 31, GSU will donate $10 to NEO Kids Foundation. As an added incentive, customers who make the switch will also be entered into a draw to win 1 of 5 Fitbit Charge 3 fitness trackers.

“This is a great way to reduce waste while supporting a very worthy local initiative,” said GSU Board Chair Mark Signoretti.

“NEO Kids Foundation is all about helping our kids get the medical treatment they need closer to home, and this is a win-win-win. GSU uses less paper, NEO Kids Foundation gets a donation, and customers enjoy the ease of paperless billing, plus are entered to win a Fitbit.”

Registering for paperless billing is easy. To sign up, visit GSU’s website www.gsuinc.ca and click the “My Account” tab.

When completing log-in details, select “Yes, I want paperless billing.”

If you are already registered as a “My Account” user, simply visit your profile, and change your billing option to paperless. Then each month, you’ll get a notice in your email that your bill is ready. Get the details through secure “My Account” access.

“This is an incredible commitment that GSU has made to the children in northeastern Ontario,” said NEO Kids Foundation Board Chair Mick Weaver.

“Thank you, GSU, for being a leader willing to make a difference. This support will help bring treatment and health care that much closer to children throughout northeastern Ontario, keeping them closer to home.”
