Habitat for Humanity seeks applications

Habitat for Humanity, Sudbury District, will be accepting applications for the next Habitat for Humanity home to be built in the Greater Sudbury area. In order to apply, individuals must attend one of three information sessions.

Habitat for Humanity, Sudbury District, will be accepting applications for the next Habitat for Humanity home to be built in the Greater Sudbury area. In order to apply, individuals must attend one of three information sessions.


The sessions will explain what criteria families must meet in order to qualify for a Habitat for Humanity mortgage and what will be expected from the family that is selected.


The sessions will be held:
Tuesday, June 20, 7 pm
St. Jean de Brebeuf Church,
Basement Hall, 26 Kathleen St.
Thursday, June 22, 7 pm
Caruso Club, Lower Hall
385 Haig St.
Tuesday, June 27, 7 pm
Older Adult Centre (YMCA)
Durham St.


Habitat for Humanity provides interest free mortgages for families who can budget their money well, but would have difficulty obtaining a traditional mortgage. Families must have regular gainful employment, but live below the poverty line. Families receiving ODSP benefits are eligible.
