Haunted Heights Trail

October 2 to 30

Take a haunted walk through the woods every Friday and Saturday until Halloween. Groups will be expected to maintain a healthy social distance from each other while waiting to enter. Admission is $7 per person or $5 with a non-perishable food item (human or pet) to be donated to a local food bank and animal shelter. Click here for more information. 

Inferno 6077: Born Out of Fire

Inferno 6077: Born Out of Fire is a fully produced theatrical drive-in style haunt that promises to deliver the same intense scares as the Terror Train 6077 which has been derailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pumpkinferno

October 2 to 30

Experience spooktacular outdoor fun at Dynamic Earth including 5000 hand-carved pumpkins, scavenger hunt, spooky tales and a fire magic science show. Tickets are $10 for members, $12 for general public. Masks are required. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. 

Music for Meals Virtual Benefit Concert Series

Porketta Bingo

October 10

Sudbury Performance Group is once again starting porketta bingo on Saturdays at the New Trevi Restaurant. Starting Sept. 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Trevi Bar & Grill, located at 1837 Lasalle Blvd. The event is limited to 50 players. Tickets are $30. Patrons will be required to wear masks while moving in and out of the restaurant, or whenever they are out of their seat.

Mountain bike group rides

October 11

Organized by the Walden Mountain Bike Club. Weekly ride location will be posted before the event. Hosting group rides during a pandemic provides challenges. Details of the ride guidelines are available here

Trivia Night

October 13

Nickel City Trivia is hosting "The Quarantine Quiz" every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. Watch for it on Facebook.

Free virtual youth conference

October 14

The Learning Disabilities Association of Sudbury is pleased to announce that as part of October Awareness Events it will be hosting a free virtual youth conference featuring speaker Carly Sotas on Oct. 14 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Carly will speak on the importance of mental wellness, life balance and resiliency. Virtual Knit Nights

October 8 & 15

Sweet Yarns, located at 1465 Bancroft Dr., is livestreaming knitting circles on its Facebook page every Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join in here.
