Overtime Sports Bar and Grill Sudbury (941 Notre Dame Ave.) is hosting a pasta dinner in support of Inner City Home on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you have a hankering for a hearty meal that comes with a little love for the food bank, head to

Overtime Sports Bar and Grill Sudbury (941 Notre Dame Ave.) for a pasta dinner in support of Inner City Home.

The event runs Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Proceeds from each pasta dish will be donated to support the community organization.

In a release, Inner City Home president Joe Drago notes that food insecurity has been a concern for some time. “However, recently the increase in numbers has almost spiralled out of control,” he said.

It has been a difficult time for the not-for-profit emergency food bank, he said, and the organization receives no funding.

“With one paid staff member, along with a large number of volunteers, we work diligently and are committed to feed many needy families and children,” he said.

“Having the support of the Overtime Sports Bar, offering to host a pasta dinner with profits going to our organization permits us to collect funds necessary to buy food.”

Tickets are $20 each and include one pasta serving per guest. Tickets can be purchased at Overtime Sudbury or online, found here. The release also encourages guests to make a reservation by calling 705-470-3336.

“We need this help and support,” said Drago in the release. “On behalf of our volunteer board I thank Overtime for coming forward to assist with our cause.”
