Residents are invited to provide their feedback on the design concept for the Brady Green Stairs project.

The Brady Green Stairs is a public space that will run along the northern edge of Brady Street and is intended to create a visual and physical connection from Durham Street to Memorial Park.

The existing Durham Street Parkette is scheduled to undergo structural repairs, which presents an opportunity to complete the Brady Street Green Stairs project identified in the Downtown Sudbury Master Plan.

Join staff from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the YMCA (140 Durham St.) in the multi-purpose room to view and hear more about the design, share your comments, and ask questions.

Residents who are unable to attend a session can submit their comments online at www.greatersudbury.ca/bradygreenstairs until December 8, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. For a paper copy of the Brady Green Stairs concept design, visit a Citizen Service Centre or library location near you.

The Downtown Sudbury Master Plan is a series of recommendations to reinforce the Downtown’s role as the biggest, brightest and best in northern Ontario. Strategies focus on improving the downtown’s level of economic, cultural and retail activity, its sense of place and its role as the urban centre for the region.

The Downtown Sudbury Master Plan suggests ways in which the City of Greater Sudbury can position itself as the “Capital of the North.”
