Public Health Sudbury and Districts is reporting 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The increase brings the total number of active cases to 53, given the seven resolved cases since yesterday’s update.
All 13 cases are in Greater Sudbury. Four are listed as outbreak related, eight are close contact of a known case, while one was unknown exposure.
At Health Sciences North, there are five patients with confirmed cases of COVID-19, one in the ICU and four in other units. There are currently seven cases currently under investigation, two in the ICU and five in other units.
Ontario reported 1,062 new cases of COVID-19 today.
