Highway 144 was reopened at around 11 p.m. Feb. 14, according to the OPP.

Sudbury OPP are advising that Highway 144 is closed, roughly 40 km north of Cartier.
The road has been closed due to a single motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer hauling lumber.
No detour has been posted as of yet, and police are estimating that the road will remain closed for at least three hours.
