The City of Greater Sudbury is accepting applications for financial assistance through the Ontario Renovates Program

Local homeowners with a low or moderate income may be eligible for a forgivable loan of up to $20,000 to perform urgent repairs and renovations.

Applications will be accepted until June 29. Applications will be rated based on Ministry of Housing guidelines.

To apply for assistance with structural, electrical and plumbing repairs, or renovations to improve energy efficiency and accessibility for the disabled, residents must:

• Be 18 years old, a Canadian Citizen or a Landed Immigrant
• Be the homeowner and permanently reside in the home
• Have a maximum household income of $85,200
• Have a home that is valued at no more than $253,068

The Investment in Affordable Housing Extension (IAH-E) Ontario Renovates program is funded by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario under the administration of City of Greater Sudbury Housing Services.
