Mayor Brian Bigger led a ceremony at the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre in Azilda this morning to recognize Paramedic Week in Greater Sudbury.
On hand for the event was the newly formed Paramedic Honour Guard.
The week is set aside to honour the work of EMS personnel and raise awareness about the issues, triumphs and challenges faced by paramedics.
