The student choir at Chelmsford’s École Alliance St-Joseph made a very special visit to Maison Vale Hospice June 27.

They not only performed for 90 minutes for hospice residents and their family members, they presented a $2,500 donation to the facility.

The funds were raised through special theme days at the school, performances by the choir and a donation of $400 from Lessard Welding.

“Mrs. Branconnier invested a great deal of energy in our school choir and we greatly appreciate her many contributions to our school and community,” said the school's principal, Danny Minor.

“This year, the Alliance St-Joseph choir offered two performances to Vale Hospice residents. Students greatly appreciated this experience and wish to maintain this tradition in the years to come.”
