What are the values you care about the most as a patient of Sudbury Regional Hospital? Officials with the hospital want to hear your answers to that question.

The hospital is in the process of developing a new patient declaration of values. That declaration of values will be based on the results of public consultations. Those consultations are taking place through a patient values survey, available at all areas of the hospital and on its website, www.hrsrh.on.ca.

“We want to know which values are most important to our patients, their families, and our community,” Tony Corallo, chair of the hospital’s board of directors said, in a press release.

“Knowing what matters most to our patients will guide us in our ongoing efforts to offer the best quality of health care.”

Hospital patients, families, and community members can take part in the survey until the end of March.

The development of the new patient declaration of values is one of the components of the provincial government’s new Excellent Care for All Act.
