The Health Sciences North Foundation and the Northern Ontario Cancer Foundation have launched a new fundraising effort called Joie de Vivre.
Joie de Vivre will encourage Sudburians to host fundraising dinners in support of the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Canada (AMRIC), a research institute affiliated with Health Sciences North.
Sue and Perry Dellelce will host the inaugural event at their home.
The dinner will feature Canadian chef and television personality Mark McEwan.
“Sue and I are thrilled to launch Joie de Vivre in partnership with the two foundations and Ristorante Verdicchio,” said Perry Dellelce, in a release. “We are also grateful to have Mark McEwan support the launch of this exciting new fundraising program.”
Health Sciences North president and CEO Denis Roy said the inaugural event has already almost sold out.
“With community support such as this, we know we will be successful in achieving our goals of becoming a leading research centre,” Roy said in a release.
To purchase Joie de Vivre tickets, contact email@example.com, or call 705-523-4673. Tickets are $500 per person. All funds raised from the event will be donated. A tax receipt for the full cost of the ticket will be issued.
