If you see clothing tied to a lampost Sunday, it's yours if you need it

Rotary club performing random acts of kindness

The Rotary Club of Sudbury Sunrisers is inviting community-minded organizations and citizens to help them kick off Random Acts of Kindness Week by participating in its Coats and Coffee campaign.

On Sunday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m., Rotarians will gather outside Old Rock on Durham Street to distribute winter coats, hats, mittens, scarves and socks to those struggling to keep their families warm during the harsh winter months.

Club members will be tying the donated winter apparel to poles in the downtown core with a note stating, “I’m not lost. Please take me if you need me.”
