The Keepsakes Craft Show has become a pre-Christmas tradition in Sudbury.

Organized by Bev Carney for the past 12 years, the show features unique gifts and crafts with an emphasis on northern vendors.

Carney supports non-profit organizations and often provides them with free booth space.

This year Keepsakes welcomes the SPCA. It will have a booth to create awareness for the good work the agency does for animals and to recruit volunteers.

This year?s show will feature more than 100 exhibitors. They include former Northern Life photographer David Wiewel and Just Peachy?s Louise Peach.

The show is juried so there is lots of variety, explains Carney.

The $4 fee provides admission for the entire weekend and a chance to win a dream vacation.

The Keepsakes show takes place at the Exhibition Centre on Falconbridge Road. It opens today at noon and runs Saturday and Sunday,
