Comedian Jeff Leeson is bringing his ‘Sorry I’m Not Kevin Hart’ tour to Greater Sudbury on Oct. 21.

Sudbury Performance Group is bringing comedian Jeff Leeson and his “Sorry I’m Not Kevin Hart” tour to Greater Sudbury this month.

Billed as Canada’s King of Audience Interaction, Mark Mannisto of Sudbury Performance Group (SPG) said Leeson is a unique comedian.

“With a perfect blend of traditional stand-up comedy, and long-form improv, he takes the audience on a journey with him while they witness the show not just being performed but being created right in front of their eyes. something that must be seen live to be believed,” Mannisto, the president of Sudbury Performance Group, said in a news release.

A working standup for 22 years, Leeson was once described as a ‘human fireworks display,” SPG said, for the way he uses his surroundings and people in front of him to create a unique performance Leeson’s work has been featured on Sirius/XM radio and Spotify, as well as in two hour-long comedy specials for Amazon Prime and a Dry Bar Comedy Special.

The Sudbury gig goes Oct. 21 at the Trevi Bar & Grill. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35. VIP meet-and-greet passes are also available for $55. Purchase at SudburyPerformance.ca, in person at the Trevi Bar & Grill, or by calling 705-662-8518.
