Cambrian College and the Cambrian Foundation received a significant boost to the Father Brian McKee Bursary on April 18.

Representatives from the Knights of Columbus (Father Brian McKee Council 1387) presented a $5,000 cheque to Cambrian President Bill Best and Cambrian Foundation Director of Development, Darlene Palmer.

The new funds will extend the life of the bursary, which was originally established in 2011 and is given out each year to a relative of any member of the Father Brian McKee Council, or a graduate of a Catholic high school.

This year’s recipient of a $500 bursary was Stetson Troscinski, a student in the college's Civil Engineering Technology program.
