Lanes being closed on the Kingsway

Motorists can expect lane closures on the Kingsway at the approach to Chapters bookstore, starting May 14, for reconstruction of traffic islands as part of a new north-south collector route.

Work is limited to off-peak traffic hours.

The westbound curb lane on the Kingsway will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon near the Chapters entrance. Westbound and eastbound centre lanes will be closed from noon to 3 p.m.

From May 15 to 17, intermittent closures of eastbound and westbound centre lanes will occur near the Chapters entrance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again on May 18, from 9 a.m. to noon.

A westbound curb lane closure will occur on Lasalle Boulevard at Auger Avenue starting May 14 and again on May 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for repairs to Bell Canada structures.
