The Independent Living Resource Centre of Sudbury-Manitoulin is holding several seminars entitled Building Blocks to Empowerment on Wednesday, May 19 at Laurentian University.
The early afternoon session involves three seminars on motivation, confidence and communications.
A second seminar later on will include a discussion with Laurentian and Cambrian College students on accessibility, money and technology available to assist in higher education.
There?s also a dinner in The Cavern at Science North by motivational speaker and standup comedian Gord Paynter, who has a successful career despite
being blind.
