The Ministry of Transportation has advised that Highway 6 will be closed intermittently to traffic at the Little Current Swing Bridge nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Nov. 1-3.
The bridge closure is needed to carry out an inspection of the bridge. The bridge will open for approximately 10 minutes each hour to clear traffic queues.
The bridge will resume regular operations during daytime hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Measures are in place to allow emergency vehicles to cross in an emergency situation.
