Laurentian University will host its second Kumbaya event, a weekend getaway for secondary school students who have applied the university and their families May 25 and 26.
Laurentian University will host its second Kumbaya event, a weekend getaway for secondary school students who have applied the university and their families May 25 and 26.

By spending two days on the campus and taking part in a series of fun and informative activities, new students and their families will be able to see what the university and the City of Greater Sudbury have to offer. Guests will have the opportunity to chat with professors, tour the campus and residences, meet with liaison staff, collect key student information and pre-register for first-year courses.

Activities include boat cruises on Ramsey Lake, tennis, swimming, basketball, volleyball, games, Imax movies, nature walks, city tours, a barbecue, as well as a pub night. All activities on the campus are free.
