Power has been restored to all customers who were affected by an equipment issue earlier this evening.

Power is back online for Kingsway and Notre Dame, as well as part of Lasalle, according to Sudbury Hydro.

The company tweeted that they hope to get everyone back on within half and hour.

According to Twitter reports from Sudbury Hydro, close to 6,000 customers in and around New Sudbury have been affected by an equipment issue.

A tweet from Sudbury Hydro stated, "problem with equipment in front of Jett Landry on Lasalle affecting 5,800+ in New Sudbury, Flour Mill, Kingsway. Crews working on it."
