The deadline for provincial election candidates to register passed on Thursday, revealing the Sudbury and Nickel Belt electoral districts are both down previously anticipated candidates.
None of the Above Direct Democracy Party candidates Bailey Burch-Belanger (Nickel Belt) and David Sylvestre (Sudbury) are not included in the final list.
A party representative clarified to Sudbury.com that Burch-Belanger did not get registered, and Sylvestre ended up getting registered in Windsor.
The None of the Above Party pledges to “give voters control of politicians and parties” by putting in place a direct democracy where voters determine all of the major decisions rather than politicians.
The final list of candidates, as will appear on the ballot, are as follows.
