The Northern Ontario School of Medicine and OPSEU Local 677 are back to the bargaining table as of today (Nov. 1).
The two sides are working with a provincially-appointed mediator.
"We look forward to returning to the table with renewed energy and a focus on bringing this labour dispute to an end," Tyler England, chair of OPSEU Local 677's bargaining team, said in a press release put out last month.
"We trust that management also shares this commitment to reaching a just and fair agreement."
Members of Local 677 have been on strike since Aug. 16. An earlier tentative agreement was rejected by the workers on Oct. 12.
