Ontario reports 356 new COVID cases Saturday

Saturday's report includes 340 recoveries and four deaths

Public Health Ontario reported 356 new COVID cases today.

The latest updates noted 340 recoveries and four deaths.

The Oct. 30 updates provided by the province's public health agency and the ministry of health also reported the following data:

  • 3,050 active, lab-confirmed cases, up from 3,038 yesterday. 
  • 213 people are hospitalized with COVID-19.
  • There are 105 COVID-positive patients in the ICU plus another 27 patients no longer testing positive for COVID-19.
  • There are 66 COVID-positive patients on ventilators and another 20 patients on ventilators no longer testing positive for COVID. 
  • 11,007,022 Ontarians have been fully vaccinated.
  • The new cases include 195 unvaccinated, 13 partially vaccinated, and 126 fully vaccinated cases. 22 cases were reported with vaccination status unknown. 
  • There are 90 unvaccinated, 11 partially vaccinated, and 36 fully vaccinated individuals hospitalized with COVID but not in the ICU. 
  • There are 66 unvaccinated, five partially vaccinated, and 13 fully vaccinated individuals in ICUs with COVID-19. 

Public Health Ontario has confirmed 599,615 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, and reported 586,696 recoveries and 9,869 deaths.
