Ouch! Sudbury gas spikes to 109.9

If you need to fill your car up today, prepare to pay a little more.

Most gas stations in the city spiked four cents per litre to 109.9 yesterday, according to GasBuddy.com.

It looks like some gas stations, mostly in the Chelmsford and Lively areas, haven't followed that trend, though, with several in those areas charging far less than in the city's core. 

The cheapest gas in the city is 103.1 at Global in Chelmsford.

The most expensive gas in the city is 110.3 at Petro Canada in Hanmer.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, where gas ranges in price from 97.7 to 99.9, prices are fully 10 cents per litre cheaper than at most Sudbury stations right now.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 103.4. The cheapest gas in the province is 88.9 in Moraviantown First Nation. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 129.9 in Upsala.
