Persona Communications has acquired Cyberbeach Communications and Isys Technologies (Cyberbeach-Isys.)
Cyberbeach-Isys is one of northern Ontario?s largest Internet service providers, as well as a leader in web hosting services. The company provides service to approximately 8,000 residential and business customers. Close to 3,200 already subscribe to high-speed cable modem services through Persona Communications? third-party Internet access service.
The Cyberbeach-Isys acquisition boosts Persona?s northern division?s Internet subscriber base by approximately 50 per cent from around 10,000 customers to over 15,000 customers.
Persona, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Persona Communications Inc., is in the business of providing cable television, digital cable, high-speed Internet, and telecom services to a diverse residential and commercial customers.
