The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District 3 (Sudbury) members made a recent donation of $4,628 to the Sudbury Women’s Centre. The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District 3 (Sudbury) members made a recent donation of $4,628 to the Sudbury Women’s Centre.

The donation was made on Feb. 22. 

To raise the funds, the union hosted a soldout porketta bingo at the Beef’n’Bird Tavern on Feb. 10. 

“Great fun was had by all,” the union told Sudbury.com.

OSSTF District 3 thanked those who supported the effort by buying tickets and the businesses that supported the fundraiser with door prizes, including Verdicchio's Ristorante, The Kouzzina, M.I.C., Ripe, Milestones and Eddie's Restaurant.
